He speaks on general pediatric topics, including parenting , behavioral,  nutrition and obesity and immunization issues. He especially enjoys discussing  the first year of life and it's importance to infants and their parents.  He is the Co-editor of Oh Baby: How to Love (and Survive) Your Baby's First  Year.
For most babies it does not matter what the first solid foods are. By tradition, single-grain cereals are usually introduced first. However, there is no medical evidence that introducing solid foods in any particular order has an advantage for your baby. At this point, you may have a plan or are confused because you have received too much advice from family and friends with different opinions.
