Ben FordChef Ben Ford is best known for his hands-on approach to cooking and large-scale home entertaining, and his 2014 cookbook, Taming the Feast: Ben Ford’s Field Guide to Adventurous Cooking.

Ben grew up in a creative, DIY environment. His mother was a cook and illustrator, and he often helped her in the kitchen. His father, Harrison Ford, was a carpenter before he became an actor, and Ben inherited his father’s love and respect for working with his hands, a skill that eventually found its way into his cooking. In his extensive travels, he was fascinated by the hand-crafted cooking devices used in homes all over the world.

He joined the Reimagine MySelf program to share his culinary expertise and experiences, and stories of his mother’s journey with MS.
