Got Back Pain? Try Swimming!
Experts have proven that swimming can alleviate back pain. Swimming and other aquatic exercises can strengthen back and core muscles due to the lack of gravity in the water.

In fact, swimming may just be one of the best therapies for back pain.

But before you get in the water, you need a little prep. What are the correct strokes, movements and techniques to use in order to maximize pain relief?

Renowned orthopedic and spinal surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Hansraj, MD, shares a variety of water exercises that help ease back pain, regardless of the cause of the pain. These exercises also work to strengthen and improve overall spinal health.
