Is There a Right Time to Put on Deodorant?
Whether you've just gotten out of the shower, or are rushing out of your home on your way to work, you may have reached for your deodorant to keep sweating (and smelling) at bay.

However, it turns out you're putting your deodorant on all wrong.

Antiperspirants actually work better when they're applied at night.

Antiperspirants are different than deodorants, as they help tame sweating by targeting your sweat production with aluminum compounds.

Deodorant is used to covered up smells with fresh scents and typically wears off within a couple of hours.

Listen in as Jimmy Yiannias, MD, shares the difference between antiperspirant and deodorant, as well as the best time of day to apply it.
