You're probably familiar with the saying "you are what you eat."
Did you know that your face is an open book of your dietary habits?
Do you have blemishes on your forehead, cheeks and chin? Are your cheeks red and puffy? Your body may not be processing gluten properly. This inflammation can be caused by gluten.
Are your eyelids swollen? Do you have widespread acne with a concentration of blemishes on your chin? Do you have dark circles around the eye and bags beneath? The hormones in dairy can fire up these symptoms.
Do your pores appear enlarged? Do you have pronounced lines and blemishes between the eyes and on the forehead? Do your eyelids droop? It might be time to ease up on the alcohol. Alcohol dehydrates the body and is full of sugar.
Do you have thin skin with pustular acne? Is your skin gray and pasty? Are your eyelids sagging? Sugar will do that to you.
Take a look in the mirror. What do you see? How can you moderate your diet so your face doesn't tell on your food and drink vices?
