Health Care or Sick Care?
The term "health" has certain connotations.

Health is something you safeguard, maintain and improve. Health involves getting and staying fit. Health covers eating well. Health is something you can celebrate.

"Health care" is a bit of a misnomer. You utilize health care when you are sick and need remedy. Perhaps "sick care" would be a more suitable term. What other terms do we use when we discuss health care that are a bit inaccurate?

Precision of language will help our understanding of health care and what to expect from it.

Listen in as Dr. Holly Lucille joins host Melanie Cole to discuss the language of health care.
